Beyond job experience and formal education, weekly supervision, consultation and therapy, and regular anti-racism dialog, I have participated in thousands of hours of special trainings and workshops related to psychotherapy. Recent and noteworthy trainings I’ve attended include:

    • American Group Psychotherapy Association Connect (2022, 2024): 6-day conferences including specialized workshops and intensive experiential group trainings
    • Odyssey Health Professional Retreat (2026): a 4-day professional development experience including a personalized, legally facilitated psilocybin journey in Colorado serving to foster renewed passion, greater empathy, and an enhanced ability to care for self as a practitioner and for clients/community
    • Onsite Group Intensive (2026): a week-long trauma-focused colloquium that blended psychoeducation with psychodrama, music and art therapy, group therapy, somatic experiencing and other evidence based practices
    • Natural Lifemanship Personal Immersion (2023): a 4-day intensive training and healing experience involving horse-assisted EMDR, somatic therapy, attachment-based education, reiki, psychodrama, sound bathing, and eco-therapy
    • Experiential modern analytic trainings: several 2-day institutes, workshops, and group processes offered by the Austin Group Psychotherapy Society
    • Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Level 1 & 2: Bridging the Couple Chasm, and Assessment, Intervention, and Co-Morbidities, offered by The Gottman Institute
